Junior Parent Responsibilty
Every year it is the Junior class and parents that put on the prom and the post prom respectfully.
The juniors have their own committee for their prom duties and the parents, us, have our own committee, the post prom.
Face it who wants to go home right after prom?
The post prom is a safe and fun place for the kids to come after prom or they do not have to attend prom to enjoy the post prom it is open to all the juniors, seniors, and their respected dates. The students will have to sign in and if they leave early the parents will get a call. We just want to make sure all are safe!
It has been a tradition not to revel our theme for the post prom until the kids arrive. We will not put the theme on the blog. AND it has also been tradition to have the community do a "walk thru" before the evening.
Every Junior parent will receive a letter stating dates and activities along with the tradition of asking every family to donate $25.00 for the post prom. We are understanding that the economy is not the best right now so please see if you can donate of your time or monies or both.
We hope this helps with some understanding of what post prom is and how the school is helping us keep our kids safe and giving us all a place they can continue to have fun.
Thank you,
Naomi & Rochelle
